I’m a dad and this is my passion project.

Before our little ones arrived, my wife and I would spend our days exploring as far as our 2WD could take us. We ventured down gravel roads around Cooktown, tackled long treks at Porcupine and Carnarvon Gorge, scaled the Pyramid in Girraween, and navigated the Belougery Spire in the Warrumbungles—just to name a few.

These days, with young kids in tow, our road trips often end at Coles or Woolies, and those long, peaceful drives have become a rare treat.

Ten minute bush walks are your friend.

A few years ago, we decided to try something different and hired a 4WD for a trip to K'gari (Fraser Island) and Rainbow Beach. That adventure opened up a world of off-the-beaten-path locations and led us to buy our own 4WD. While we haven’t fully reclaimed those serene drives, we now have old places to revisit, new destinations on our radar and excited little wilderness explorers to share them with.

The Products

We wanted to craft apparel and gear to reflect the unique Australian outdoors and the spirit of adventure.

Our products are inspired by places we've been to and places we would love to go one day. We feature Australian National Parks and great outdoors highlighting our unique flora and fauna. Whether it’s whimsy graphics on cozy tees, scout-style merit badges or stickers, my goal is to nudge families to, disconnect from tech, get out there and explore, be it a quick weekend getaway or a long-awaited camping trip.

Sustainability and Environmentally Conscious

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. From sourcing eco-friendly materials, minimizing waste in our production process and messaging on our designs.

We are committed to protecting the environment we inhabit. Our products are made from organic cotton and other sustainable fabrics, ensuring that they are as gentle on the planet as they are comfortable to wear. We believe that exploring the great outdoors should go hand in hand with preserving it for future generations. That’s why we’re dedicated to making choices that reflect our respect for nature and our responsibility toward its care. As they say:

"We need nature, nature needs us..."

The Garage Studio

We are a family operation, based out of our garage (where all great things start) in Brisbane, South East Queensland, where every item is crafted with care and in small batches.
